Valérie Martin

Co-Founder & President, Genre Humain Inc.

Over the past decades, Valérie has developed an expertise in organizational transformation, talent development, employee experience, engagement strategy, corporate culture, and CSR. 

Prior to becoming a consultant, Valerie served on several executive teams. She held the position of Vice President, Communications, Culture and CSR for the ALDO Group, a global fashion footwear company.

Most recently, Valerie served as Vice President, Talent & Culture for the LCI Education Network, which now spans five continents and 23 private higher education campuses. 

Valérie was the President of Image and Branding for mmode, a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the competitiveness and growth of the fashion industry in Quebec. In addition, she has served on the board of directors of the CQCD, an organization that brings together more than 5,000 commercial establishments.

Currently, Valérie sits on the Board of Directors of Doctors of the World, an organization that aims to provide and promote access to health care for excluded and vulnerable people, here in Canada and around the world. 

Over the course of her career, Valerie has been a speaker at numerous international events (Sustainable Brands, Drapers Sustainable Fashion, Globe Series, etc.), where she has had the opportunity to speak on a variety of topics that she is passionate about such as: diversity & inclusion, corporate culture, engagement, purpose, carbon neutrality, etc.​​
